Writing today because I heard through our mutual friend that you are struggling right now. You and I had talked the other day about how run ragged you feel and honestly, you do have a very full schedule with those two young boys. You were complaining about them eating too many snacks and such and how that was putting a strain on the finances every month. Our friend says you recently tried to visit a parenting coach, but their suggestions just didn’t work. Pastoral advice helped with family devotional times, but that was about it.
Now that I am a certified life coach, I’ve been transforming information I wrote in my course “The Poor Man’s Budget: a 5 Week Course – Learning to ive Within Your Means” into coaching modules that help Godly Christian single moms just like you to assess what is and isn’t working right now in managing your time and finances so that your time and money are better spent where they are needed most. The major by-product of these exercises is less stress for you and for your kids and potentially more money at the end of the month.
These teachings grew out of my own experience as a single mother of two kids. I have one boy and one girl who are both grown now. But very early when they were still in elementary school, I included them in managing time and money, and included them in the grocery shopping so that they eventually could spot the better deal faster than I could by the time they reached their tweens. I used to be known as the Time Management Queen when they were younger and now I want to brainstorm with YOU, ways your days can be better managed to bring you peace as well.
