MORE Updates to Begin 2025!

We are on a roll!!! The latest round of updates include a new home page banner behind the free session and info tabs. There’s a new Food and Health in Scripture daily quote feature on the right side of most pages on the coaching website. A Tip Jar is now in the left hand column of most pages for those who like what I share and want to tangibly show it.

The top menu bar has had some additions as well. A more dedicated contact form now exists under About. The Biblical Natural Health Coaching menu has expanded to include a Wholistic Check-in, The $5 Question, and something you’ll also find in the left column of most pages and in the footer of ALL pages, the Biblical Natural Health Coaching web app!!! So what are these expansions?

Open notebook with pencilThe Wholistic Check-in can be used as a way to keep yourself accountable when we are working together, allowing you to record things like your daily diet, how you’re feeling, what you accomplished and your goal set for tomorrow. If you are not yet working with me, but wouldn’t mind a tool that could be used as a kind of journal, this form can be used for that too. I will however, reach out to you and add you to my newsletter mailing list. I DO see what is shared in this form, which is the point of it being available for client accountability, so journal users will be reminded of this if they start using it when they are not working with me. This isn’t to scare off non-client users, but will inform me of the kinds of things people are dealing with that natural health can address and potentially inform what I share in blog articles and such, benefiting not merely the journal user, but article readers as well.

The $5 Question is a great option for those who want to ask a question without signing up for the $50/mo Natural Health Retainer. They doubt they’d have enough questions in a month to warrant such a commitment, but $5 for one single question? That’s more doable. There’s no limit to how many questions you can ask, but the same caviat applies to $5 Question users that applies to subscribers of the Natural Health Monthly Retainer. The caviat is this: If you keep returning to the same question over and over, I’ll recommend my coaching instead so that we can put a plan of action together to address the issue in a comprehensive, accountable manner that sees the issue properly addressed.

Lastly, what’s this about a web app??? During my hunt for a way to let you fill out and sign your client intake packet online, I also ran across a no-code tool to create a web app for your phone, tablet or desktop/laptop. After taking a fair bit of time to play with this idea and add, tweak, etc, the Biblical Natural Health Coaching app is now ready for use!

This tool features the above additions to my website, but also contains the basic features of the website in a way more suited to smaller screens, with a smaller menu showcasing the most immediately useful aspects of what I offer and how you can make use of my services. The app will morph and grow over time as I sit here realizing another feature needs to head over there, which is a link back to my calendar!

CalendarTwo craft fairs are now up on the calendar! Speaking of calendars, the FREE session link under my Biblical Natural Health Coaching menu up top here, has been updated to use the same form the app uses. The booking calendar does not populate the event calendar, but as most events to date have occurred on weekends, I don’t anticipate much overlap. I will block off dates in the booking app should advanced foraging workshops or homeschool introductory foraging workshops take place during the week.

You now have the option of choosing not merely the day and time of your first appointment, but you can book several sessions at once. A coupon code has been created to allow you to deduct your first session’s fee, as that session is ALWAYS free! If this code gets abused, as in, shared from one person to another who don’t fill out their client intake packet and somehow want a free appointment, then I’ll be changing the coupon after each use to prevent such abuse.

In order to receive your coupon code, you need to reach out to me and the best way to do that is by completing your client intake packet where you can let me know your preferred method of communication. I will then reach out to you with your coupon code and encourage you to look at your calendar versus mine, and choose a date and time for your FREE session that works for both of us.

For those who like to colour or have kids who do, the FREE TOOLs menu item now has another portal colouring page. This is not far from the first portal on our trails, and we had to take a photo of it! That photo is now turned into a page you can print and colour as simply or as intricately as you wish. Colouring pages show up at our table from time to time throughout the year, particularly at events geared toward families, and wellness fairs. The free tools are also in the web app. If you have your mobile device connected to a printer, you can open the colouring page and send it to the printer under your right-click (or device-similar) menu.

Anonymous_praying_handsNot everyone knows that I offer prayer coaching, but I do, and that is on the web app as well. If you are a fellow believer and struggling in the realm of prayer and would appreciate a coach coming alongside to help you overcome your struggle, use the form on this page to reach out. There is no free session with the prayer coaching, but I still encourage you to fill out a client intake packet, at least the first 4 forms in the packet as this will help me with a starting point to work from.

This form is also on the app, as a quicker way to find it than perhaps where it sits on my website’s top menu bar.

The web app health store has two items in it right now. I have to figure out how the back-end would work if I put other items there as well, due to logistics around those items on my end. So for now, there are just two items there. Once I have the actual dates for the advanced foraging workshops, they will appear there for sure.

The first 10 days of 2025 have alternated between “recover from the Christmas craft fair season” and “assess and upgrade for 2025”. In the middle of it all I baked some curly dock cookies, because of wanting to further experiment with wild food. Today I used culinary ash in place of salt in two other recipes, my homemade cheese sauce, and my curly dock tortillas. We hardly noticed the change in the tortillas, and the smell of the cheese was definitely cheesier than usual! My daughter’s assessment of the cookies being “maple chocolate chip” (curly dock tastes alot like maple syrup when cooked) made me think of a wild breakfast idea: Curly dock/oatmeal pancakes with fir syrup drizzled over top! I might actually make that one of the advanced foraging workshops that we can share in a meal over! I have to look at my proposed draft list for 2025 and figure out which month to put it in. (BIG GRIN)

So if you haven’t looked around my coaching website in awhile, take a moment to browse the top menu bar’s offerings, and if you prefer web apps over websites, be sure to visit the app and when your device prompts you, install it to your home screen. Some browsers for the laptop/desktop space also offer to install web apps as well.

Here’s looking forward to the rest of 2025!
