Introducing the concept of:
FORAGING!
Have you heard about foraging and want to learn more about it?
Want to know what's growing around the Central Okanagan and how to identify it for yourself? Maybe you have weeds growing on your property and want to know if they are useful?
You may have seen “out there” presentations of food-gathering by people who hyper-spiritualize everything.
But have you heard a scientifically-based approach to the concept of food-gathering?
How can stewardship put food on your table and that of your neighbours?
Come out to an in-person workshop May 18th, or 19th, June 1st, or June 2nd, to get answers to your questions and learn about this age-old way of providing for your family.

Register 2 weeks BEFORE your desired date to ensure your foraging notebook arrives in time for use during the workshop.
This includes:
- Reserved spot in the workshop
- Foraging notebook containing handouts related to information discussed in the workshop
- Pen
- In-person walking tour identifying and discussing various useful plants along the route.
Plan for 2 hours minimum. Bring an umbrella in case of rain, a water bottle, and your eagerness to learn.
